Random Thoughts

Friday Playlist

It’s REALLY end of July! that quick!I was thinking (some random thoughts) I have to be patient in everything that happened in my life right now. Sometimes it must be the weather why I am that sad, that lethargic me! Though in some years, I been tough enough for all the pain and struggle, beside I a, happy now that I am surrounded by positive people, and loved by my family.

Review: Tony Moly Mighty Atom Liptone

Thumbs up to this cute packaging from Tony Moly. This “Astro” boy lip tint was with me a long time ago and just recently give a try if it suits my morena skin. I have one in Pink Ming (#1) but gifted to my friend so I left with this color which is Red Hot #4.

Tony Moly Mighty Atom in Red Hot #4

Tony Moly states that this product is a “lightweight tint that gives vivid color and natural shine over the lips “. Not a fan of lip tint but this one is good even it is bright color. I have a hard time removing this tint. I t lasted the whole day even drinking and eating.

The doe applicator is familiar to me cos I have many different kind of liquid lipstick where from Korean brand too.

Pros: cute packaging, stays longer on my lips, inexpensive, 8 different colors, very lightweight, vivid colors

Cons: clumpy residue in the corner of my lips,

Recommendations: This product is nothing really amazing but it is cheaper to try, it won’t hurt your wallet. I bet this would be perfect for fair skin.

What do you think? Have a great weekend!

e.l.f. Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder

I bought my first “contour” thing for the loved to try new makeup. Yes, this was my first and affordable contouring product I have. I was amazed on the models of magazine, famous celebrities and even faces on my way. (I was like, how they do that? I gave a try to this contour blush and bronze powder from beautymnl together with elf stipple brush.

I’ve been looking up on a contemptible one to begin with this “contour thing” if how to use it, so I tried one.

With the help of the instructions at the back, I use the blush brush to swipe on the bronze to my hollow cheeks for a definition around my face line. I applied also the blush highlights on my cheeks. I did not notice the defined pigmentation, but I noticed the sun kissed effect on my cheekbone. Please note that it is only noticeable when lights hit at a certain angle.

Pros: very affordable for a beginner, blend very easily with a good pigmentation that gives your face a healthy natural glowing skin, the packaging is 5/5 and can bring anytime, anywhere, the Sta. Lucia shade is perfect for asian color, the packaging and the mirror inside is probably worth the price

Cons: the pigment is light on my medium complexion ( I dab a rose blush from Maybelline for more flush of clor) re-apply after 5- hours, the texture isn’t buttery soft, it feel slightly dry and powdery but it’s nothing too terrible.

Recommendation: Use setting spray or face primer for long lasting, can be a dupe for Nars Laguna and Orgasm (fraction of the cost!)

It was not a dissapoint on me cos I just try ths thing for fuss. You had to work on it to make it work:) Have you tried this one? Share with me your thoughts!

Bite-Sized Beauty: Benefit Cosmetics

From my first mini haul to this current bite-sized beauty, I love collecting sample sizes that were given from the purchase items and gifts from travel abroad. Lets begin with the good brand which is Benefit.

Among the three, I was amazed with the effect of They’re Real Mascara which lengthens and volumizes your lashes with just one rob. I won’t mind buying this 30g for Php700 because of its effectiveness and long wearing results. Indeed, one of the good buys! I heard a lot of raves about The POREfessional face primer so good thing I have the sample, so if it works to my face, I should save more to buy the big tube, so I could test if surely will minimize my pores for more flawless looking makeup. It was said it was the number 1 face primer in the US, so I, we, strongly convinced to have that. The last sample is the Air Patrol Cream Eyelid Primer. We all know that the main role of primers is to extend wear of the make up that won’t crease, fade or smear.Right?

How bout you? have you tried these cosmetics? Is is worth it to buy the full size? Share with me your thought! Happy holiday!
